I took my first ceramics class in 2019 and quickly realized a closet wasn’t enough space to work. My husband, an architect, designed the WRECKED WORKS studio, a space split between clay and music. Clay, mostly.

The studio is built for work, but it’s rarely quiet. Music plays loud and my rescue greyhound keeps me company, a reminder that creating is about more than just what comes out of the kiln.

BUILT FOR Function

Hand-thrown in stoneware or porcelain, each piece is crafted with care, inspected before it leaves the studio, and made for daily use. Just avoid sudden temperature changes.

Glazed with intention

Glazing is where science meets chaos. It takes time, control, and learning the hard way. Food-contact surfaces are sealed with dinnerware-safe, lead-free glaze, while other areas may vary. Check the item description for details.

Hotter than hell

Depending on the materials, I fire from cone 6 (2200°F) to cone 10 (2350°F). At that heat the clay vitrifies, the glaze seals, and the kiln takes over. Chaos takes shape, and character emerges.
